Every student has a Red Deer Polytechnic email account. There are two ways to access your email:

Access email through the Loop

1. Log in to the Loop with your RDP username and password.
    
2. Click on the Email tab.
   
   
   If the Email tab does not appear, select Get Into and then choose Email.
   
    
3. A new window will open, asking you to log in to Outlook. Log in with your Red Deer Polytechnic email address and Loop password.
   If you don't know your RDP email address, it can be found in the top-left corner of your Loop.
   
    
4. Multi-factor authentication (MFA) is in use at Red Deer Polytechnic. If you're asked to authenticate via MFA, do so according to the method you've chosen (app, text, or other method).

Access email through Office.com

1. Visit the Office 365 login page and select Sign in.
    
2. Log in with your Red Deer Polytechnic email address and Loop password.
   If you don't know your RDP email address, it can be found in the top-left corner of your Loop.
   
    
3. Select Outlook from the list of apps (located along the left-hand side).
   
    
4. Multi-factor authentication (MFA) is in use at Red Deer Polytechnic. If you're asked to authenticate via MFA, do so according to the method you've chosen (app, text, or other method).

If you choose, you may wish to install the desktop version or download the Microsoft Office app to have easy access to your RDP email on your phone and computer.
